How Can We Help?
How To Create A Chatbot From Scratch
Congratulations in advance for getting access to the most advanced AI chatbot creation tool. Now you are ready to create unlimited AI chatbots for any purpose with unlimited interactions. However, before you start to create your first chatbot, make sure that you have created your databank and added your OpenAI API key in order to get the best experience. You can find step-by-step tutorials on how to do that here.
Now, let’s create a new AI chatbot from scratch.

- When you are logged in, click on the section marked “1” in the image above. This will bring up different options in under the settings tab.
- Campaign title: this is where you will name your campaign. This is for your personal use only. It will not appear anywhere.
- Campaign domain: this is where you should add your website. This is particularly helpful if you have not created a databank. Please note: when adding your website domain, do not include the prefixes such as “http”, “https”, or “www”, neither should you add anything at the end of the domain.
- This is where you will add your OpenAI API key
- System prompt: this is where you will instruct your chatbot on what it should do and how you expect it to act.
- Model: clicking on this will bring out different OpenAI models available for you to choose. I suggest you chose a lower model if you want to save on tokens. Higher models are more expensive.
- Temperature: this is where you choose the temperature of the AI. I suggest you leave it in the default settings
- Maximum tokens: this is where you decide the number of maximum tokens that the chatbot should use with each interaction. In our testing, it is better to set a lower amount, eg. 100
- Enable database chat: when this is turned on, you will have the option to chose from your databank that you created earlier for this chatbot to work with.
- Assign databank: this option will only become visible if you enable option number 9 above. Clicking it will bring out the different databanks that you have set up.
- Data chat style: here you have the option to choose from different styles that you want your chatbot to behave. The different chat styles available are “precise, creative, and enhanced”. You can experiment with different chat styles to know what works best for you.
- Enable lead capture: this option is for lead capture purposes if you want your chatbot to capture leads.
- Force topic: this is where you give your chatbot further instructions on what to talk about. You can instruct it not to talk about anything else apart from what you have instructed.
- Enable chat history: turn this feature on if you want the chatbot to remember its chat with users.
- Description: This description you add here is what appears at the top of the chatbot when it opens up.
- Predefined questions: here, you can set predefined questions that will show up when the chatbot pops up. This is to enable users to easily initiate the chat.
- Save: now you can save your settings and move on to the appearance tab where you can customise the appearance of your bot. Clicking on “save” will save your settings and enable you to move to the appearance tab at the top, while clicking on “save and close” will save and close the bot. To get back in, simply click on campaigns and click edit.
